MBG-2023-06-0598 On June 23rd, 2023, at approximately 2:00 pm., the Police Department was contacted in reference to graffiti on church property. There was spray paint located on two sheds. The vandalism occurred between June 21st and June 23rd. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Police Department.

2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run

On September 16th and 17th, the inaugural Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics was held. There were approximately 100 torch runners for the thirty mile run. Sergeant Lazzarevich and Officer Shipley of the Mechanicsburg Police Department participated. They helped to raise almost $11,000 to benefit Special Olympics athletes of the Capital Region!
