On June 18th, 2022, at approximately 2:19 am, a police officer on patrol came upon a disabled vehicle at the intersection of South Market and West Marble Streets. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Crawford. It was determined Crawford was operating the vehicle while his operating privilege was under suspension for a DUI conviction. Crawford’s driving record revealed he had been convicted of driving under suspension – DUI related, 14 other times. This offense was therefore a misdemeanor offense. Criminal charges were filed against Crawford and a preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
