On December 2nd, 2024 at approximately 00:33 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of North Walnut Street and East Portland Street for a single vehicle crash. Investigation determined Jessica Tezak was driving southbound on North Walnut Street when she struck a utility pole. The impact with the pole caused her vehicle to skid onto the adjacent sidewalk. Her vehicle was towed from the scene due to the damage it sustained. Tezak showed signs of impairment and a DUI investigation was conducted. At the conclusion of the investigation, Tezak was arrested for driving under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs. Tezak was transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
