Chief Robert Glenny, Jr., was sworn in on June 3rd, at the council meeting. Chief Glenny retired from Ferguson Township Police Department at the rank of Administrative Sergeant. He traveled to Colorado where he was the Chief of Police for the city of Leadville for 2 years. He returned to Central Pennsylvania, serving as the Chief of Police for Gettysburg Borough for 6 years. He will now lead the Mechanicsburg Police Department. He comes with a multitude of experiences and we are looking forward to a new chapter of progress and strong partnership with our community.
