Sex Offender – Failure to Comply Arrest



On November 12th, 2020, at approximately 1:27 pm, the police department was notified by the Pennsylvania State Police Megan’s Law Section of a possible Megan’s Law Violation. Kramer was court ordered to comply with sex offender registration requirements. Investigation into the notification determined Tawnya Kramer, formerly residing in the 300 block of South Market Street, had moved and not updated her address as required by law. An arrest warrant was obtained and subsequently served on December 6th, by the Pennsylvania State Police of the Montoursville Barracks, in Lycoming County. Kramer was located at a residence in the area. She was taken into custody on the warrant and transported to the Cumberland County Prison. Kramer was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Adams. Bail was set at $5,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled to be held at a later date.
