On February 19th, 2025 at approximately 1:37pm, the police department was dispatched to a two vehicle crash in the 500 block of West Main Street. Investigation determined Tiffany Huffman was operating a white Chevrolet Express van, eastbound. A Penn Waste garbage truck was stopped, partially in the travel lane, while collecting trash. Huffman attempted to pass the stopped garbage truck, however, sideswiped the rear of the truck in the process. The van Huffman was driving sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene. The garbage truck sustained minor damage.
