On June 17th 2024 at approximately 11:05 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of South York Street and West Marble Street for a two vehicle crash. Investigation determined Swigart was driving southbound on South York Street while Bruzga was driving westbound on West Marble Street. Bruzga stopped for the posted stop sign and continued westbound. Swigart also stopped for the posted stop sign, but did not see Bruzga, who was already in the intersection. Swigart also attempted to proceed through the intersection, causing a crash. Bruzga’s vehicle was towed from the scene due to the damage it sustained.
A traffic citation was filed at the conclusion of the investigation.
