On May 21st, 2021, at approximately 8:51 am, the police department was dispatched to a crash which just occurred in the 1st block of North York Street. Upon arrival it was determined there were three vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found a vehicle operated by Kennedy was travelling southbound on North York Street. Kennedy struck a vehicle being operated by Douty, who was pushed into a vehicle in front of her operated by Chakka. Douty and Chakka’s vehicles were both stopped for the red light when they were struck. Kennedy’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damaged it sustained in the crash.
