On March 29th, 2024 at approximately 5:56 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of Brandy Lane and Old Silver Spring Road for a crash which just occurred. Investigation determined Brooks was traveling on Old Silver Spring Road and had stopped for the posted stop sign. Hbarah was traveling westbound on Brandy Lane and had the right-of-way. Brooks failed to see Hbarah approaching and pulled from the stop sign and into his path. Hbarah was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
The police department was assisted on scene by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department and Silver Spring Township EMS.
