On May 25th, 2021, at approximately 10:29 am, the victim contacted the police department reporting they received a mailing from a bank showing an account was opened in the victim’s name, using the victim’s social security number as well. The victim called the bank and cancelled the account. The bank suggested the victim contact the police department. The victim already checked their credit history, but no other fraudulent accounts were found. The victim resides in the 300 block of East Marble Street. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
