On January 7th, 2023, at approximately 10:26 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of West Simpson and South Broad Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Noonan was operating his vehicle southbound on South Broad Street. South Broad Street is a one way street for northbound traffic only. Noonan was attempting to cross over West Simpson Street. Upon entering into the intersection Noonan’s vehicle struck a vehicle travelling westbound on West Simpson Street. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained in the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department. Noonan was found to be under the influence of alcohol. It was determined Noonan was not safe to operate a motor vehicle and he was arrested. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
