On January 17th, 2023, at approximately 12:16 pm, the victim contacted the police department about fraudulent charges on their bank account dating back to December. The victim who resides in the 1st block of East Coover Street advised they received communication from their bank about their account being frozen. The victim advised they looked at their account and saw multiple unauthorized transactions, most of them occurring in Florida. It is unknown how their account was comprised and the transactions were being made. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
