On August 5th, 2022, at approximately 8:42 am, the police department was contacted by the owner of a business located in the 100 block of East Allen Street. The owner advised the main door lock to the building was damaged overnight. The individual advised an employee last left the building the previous evening around 8:15 pm. They locked the door with no issues. An employee arrived this morning and could not unlock the door. A lock smith making repairs advised something had been placed inside the lock damaging it. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
