On June 22nd, 2023, at approximately 1:56 am, the Police Department was dispatched to the first block of West Allen Street for a domestic issue. The victim advised he and his girlfriend became engaged in a verbal argument which turned physical. There were visible injuries to the victim consistent with what was reported to have occurred. The defendant was identified as Catherine McKenna who was arrested. She was transported to the Cumberland County Prison where she was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kathryn Silcox. McKenna was given unsecured bail and a preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
