On November 8th 2023, at approximately 2:28 am, a Mechanicsburg Police Officer observed a vehicle code violation at the intersection of South Market Street and Simpson Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Ryan Bowers. During the investigation, Bowers was found to be under the influence of an alcohol beverage. It was determined Bowers was under the influence to the degree he could not safely operate a motor vehicle and was arrested. Bowers was transported to Cumberland County Prison where he was processed. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
