On April 1st, 2023, at approximately 1:54 am, an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 100 block of East Allen Street. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Shelton and he was found to be under the influence of alcohol. It was determined Shelton was not safe to operate a motor vehicle and he was arrested. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
