On December 18th, 2021, at approximately 8:05 am, the police department was dispatched to a crash which just occurred in the 1st block of East Allen Street. Upon arrival officers determined there were four vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Klawitter was operating his vehicle westbound on East Allen Street. For unknown reason Klawitter’s vehicle struck a parked vehicle. The impact pushed the parked vehicle into a second vehicle parked in front of the first. This pushed the second parked vehicle into a third parked vehicle. Klawitter left the scene on foot prior to police arriving. He was identified through investigation into the crash. Klawitter’s vehicle and the first two parked vehicles all required towing from the scene due to the damage sustained from the crash.
