On April 22nd, 2022, at approximately 11:20 am, the police department was contacted by the victim advising the school van they drive had been struck while parked. They advised they parked the school van outside their residence in the 100 block of East Simpson Street facing westbound. They heard the crash and came out to find damage to the driver’s side of the van. A camera in the area captured the striking vehicle, which was described as a gold, 2000s Chevrolet Malibu, with silver rims. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
