On June 27th, 2022, at approximately 8:33 pm, the police department was advised of a street sign having been struck at the intersection of West Locust and South Frederick Streets. The sign was a one way and do not enter sign located there. There was a mud flap left behind by the striking vehicle. It is believed to have been a larger truck or box truck which struck the sign. The sign required replacing due to the damage caused to it. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
