On August 1st, 2022, at approximately 12:16 pm, the victim contacted the police department about a hit and run crash involving their parked vehicle. The victim advised their vehicle was parked in the 100 block of West Main Street, facing westbound. The victim advised they heard a loud bang around 2:00 am, but upon looking outside they did not see anything. The victim walked out to their vehicle later and found it had been struck. The victim’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained from the crash. The striking vehicle left maroon paint behind. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
