On December 16th, 2020, at approximately 5:50 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 100 block of East Simpson Street for a traffic crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were three legally parked vehicles struck by a passing truck which left the scene. The three vehicles were all parked on the south side of the street facing east. The truck was described as a plow truck which was travelling eastbound. PENNDOT was contacted in case it was one of their trucks, but it was determined to not involve a PENNDOT truck. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information about the striking vehicle is asked to contact the police department.
