On May 9th, 2022, at approximately 11:32 am, the victim contacted the police department regarding someone trying to open a bank account in their name. The victim, who resides in the 1st block of Edgewood Drive, stated they received a letter from the bank about the attempt to open an account. The victim contacted the bank and advised them the account was being opened fraudulently. It is unknown how the victim’s identifying information was obtained. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
