On March 11th, 2021, at approximately 2:44 pm, the victim contacted the police department after receiving in the mail information relating to two credit cards which were opened in the victim’s name. The victim did not open the credit cards. The victim resides in the first block of West Marble Street. They were informed their social security number was used to open the accounts, but the email address associated with the accounts was not the victim’s. The next day the victim received two more mailings about accounts which were opened. A check of their credit history showed some denial for credit cards being opened. All of these accounts were not applied for by the victim. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
