On March 15th, 2021, at approximately 4:28 pm, the victim contacted the police department about receiving a credit card bill in the mail for $15,000. The credit card was in the victim’s name, but they did not apply for the card. They contacted the credit card company and found their information was used to open an account. The email address associated with the account was not theirs. The credit card company advised they would turn the account over to their security department. The victim resides in the 400 block of West Main Street. It is unknown how their information was obtained. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
