Mechanicsburg Police Department partnered with other law enforcement agencies in Cumberland County, for the months of October and November, to raise funds for Pink Hands of Hope. During the two months the department waived its facial hair policy and allowed beards after a donation by each officer was given. The police department also sold pinks patches with proceeds also being donated. Pictured above is Lieutenant Brian Curtis and Chief Christopher Raubenstine, of the Silver Spring Township Police Department, with Brian Gaughan, owner and founder of Pink Hands of Hope. Checks were presented from the two departments today. Combined we were able to give, just short of, $3,500. Thank you to everyone who donated and purchased patches.
