On August 13th, 2022, at approximately 9:45 am, the victim contacted the police department about a hit and run crash which just occurred in the 200 block of South Market Street. The victim advised they were travelling northbound and were stopped at the intersection with Simpson Streets. The victim advised they were rear ended while stopped. The victim advised they pulled over, but the striking vehicle left the area. The striking vehicle was described as a lime green Jeep Wrangler, 4-door, with a black top and push bumper, with a winch. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
