On August 2nd, 2020, at approximately 6:11 pm, an officer received a phone call in reference to a crash that occurred earlier. The victim advised they were travelling northbound on South York Street around 5:40 pm. Upon reaching West Main Street, the vehicle in front of them stopped short. The victim advised they struck the rear end of the vehicle. The vehicle that was struck did not stop and left the area. The struck vehicle was described as a aold Chrysler sedan. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to contact the police department.
