On June 27th, 2022, at approximately 1:14 pm, the police department was contacted by employees of Flagger Force. They were in the area of East Locust and South Arch Streets conducting traffic control. While completing their work, a blue, 2000s, Honda Civic, drove through the area with two occupants. As the vehicle drove by the two were both yelling at the employees. The vehicle returned a short time later and the driver of the vehicle began shooting projectiles, at two of the workers, with what was described as a BB gun. One of the employees was struck by the projectile(s). Both occupants were described as being Hispanic. The vehicle quickly left the area and no further description of the occupants or the vehicle could be obtained. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
