On June 20th, 2020, at approximately 5:53 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 300 block of West Main Street for a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers met with the male victim who advised he was walking in the area when a vehicle pulled up and three individuals exited the vehicle. The individuals approached the male victim, grabbing him. The individuals proceeded to take a cell phone and cash from the victim. The individuals got back into the vehicle and left the area.
The individuals in the vehicle were identified later in the evening, after an unrelated incident occurred in Camp Hill Borough. The vehicle and occupants were stopped for a traffic violation by the Camp Hill Police Department. As a result of the traffic stop, and information sharing between departments, the victim’s cell phone was recovered from the vehicle. An investigation is still ongoing.
