This evening the Mechanicsburg Police Department swore in its newest officer, Tyler Reitz. Officer Reitz was sworn in by Mayor Jack Ritter with Officer Reitz’s family and members of the police department present. Officer Reitz is a second generation law enforcement officer. His father, pictured above, is a Deputy with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department. Congratulations to Officer Reitz and his family.
