On April 12th, 2022, at approximately 8:49 pm, the victim contacted the police department regarding their lawn mower being stolen. The victim, who resides in the 400 block of West Simpson Street, had just finished mowing their lawn. They placed their mower outside of their garage, near the alley. The victim advised they went inside their residence to get their garage door opener to put the mower away. Upon coming back outside the lawn mower was gone. The victim believes it was most likely taken by someone in the area “scrapping” due to it being trash day the next day. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
