On August 9th, 2020, at approximately 12:04 pm, a victim contacted the police department about their purse being taken out of their vehicle overnight. The victim’s vehicle was parked in the 100 block of South Washington Street at the time. The victim’s debit card was later used at the Rutter’s in Mechanicsburg. The police department is in the process of getting video surveillance. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the police department.
