On September 28, 2023, at approximately 7:25 pm., the police department was made aware of a theft. The victim reported their vehicle was parked in the first block of West Simpson Street when an unknown person entered the vehicle and removed three cards from a wallet. After the cards were stolen, the suspect made a purchase online using the victim’s credit card. This occurred between 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm. on this same date. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
