On December 23rd, 2021, at approximately 9:11 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of West Main Street and West Simpson Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Kulp was operating his vehicle eastbound on West Main Street. Kulp was attempting to turn left onto North Point Road. Upon making the turn, Kulp pulled into the path of a vehicle being operated westbound, on West Main Street, by Metka. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained from the crash. Kulp was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. The police department was assisted on the scene by the Mechanicsburg Fire Department and Penn State Health EMS.
