On February 23rd, 2022, at approximately 11:57 am, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of South York and West Marble Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found a vehicle was being operated by Derr southbound on South York Street. Derr was distracted by work in the area and did not stop for the stop sign at West Marble Street. Gallagher was operating his vehicle westbound on West Marble Street. He stopped for the stop sign and upon pulling into the intersection, his vehicle was struck by Derr’s vehicle. Gallagher’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
