On April 29th, 2022, at approximately 4:53 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of South Norway and East Simpson Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Fake stopped at the stop sign on South Norway at East Simpson Street. He was attempting to cross over East Simpson Street southbound. Upon pulling into the intersection his vehicle was struck by a vehicle being driven eastbound by Hoffner. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained in the crash.
