On January 12th, 2023, at approximately 6:15 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of North Market and Allen Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Hockley was travelling north on North Market Street. He stopped for the stop sign at the intersection. He pulled into the intersection and struck a vehicle being operated by Wright. Wright was travelling east on West Allen Street. He too advised he stopped at the stop sign for the intersection and his vehicle was struck upon pulling from the stop sign. Wright’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
