On March 3rd, 2023, at approximately 2:29 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 200 block of West Simpson Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found a juvenile male was operating his vehicle west. He was following a vehicle operated by Mitchell. The juvenile male thought Mitchell was going to pass a vehicle turning left, but she did not. The juvenile male’s vehicle struck the rear of Mitchell’s vehicle when he could not stop in time. The juvenile male’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
