On April 6th, 2023, at approximately 6:57 am, the police department was dispatched for a crash which just occurred in the 300 block of Heinz Street. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Hoy was operating his vehicle west on Heinz Street. He was intending to turn left into the parking lot of a business. The vehicle behind him, operated by Roldan Bobe, began passing Hoy’s vehicle. While passing the vehicle, Roldan Bobe’s vehicle struck Hoy’s. Roldan Bobe and a passenger were evaluated by EMS on scene, but not transported. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
