On January 25th, 2021, at approximately 8:57 am, officers were dispatched to a crash which just occurred in the 400 block of East Simpson Street. Upon arrival it was learned there were two vehicles involved. It was determined a vehicle operated by Robert Saulisbury was travelling westbound in the 400 block of East Simpson Street. The vehicle in front of Saulisbury began braking and slowing down. Saulisbury was unable to stop in time and attempted to avoid the crash by steering his vehicle to the right. This caused his vehicle to strike the curb and upon coming off of the curb struck the vehicle in front of him. This vehicle was operated by Fitzgerald. Saulisbury was found to have a suspended driver’s license. His vehicle required towing from the scene.
