On July 26th, 2021, at approximately 12:49 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 200 block of East Simpson Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Abdalla was operating his vehicle eastbound on East Simpson Street. The vehicle in front of Abdalla was operated by Vernon. Vernon was stopping his vehicle for a red light when he was struck by Abdalla’s vehicle from behind. Abdalla’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained in the crash.
