On October 22nd, 2021, at approximately 2:41 pm, the police department was dispatched to the 300 block of South Market Street for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found Pierce was operating her vehicle south on South Market Street. Pierce swerved in her vehicle and in doing so, struck a parked vehicle on the west side of the street. Pierce was transported by ambulance from the scene to have her injuries evaluated further. Pierce’s vehicle required towing from the scene due to the damage it sustained. The police department was assisted on the scene by Penn State Health EMS and the Mechanicsburg Fire Department.
