On October 23rd, 2021, at approximately 5:22 pm, the police department was dispatched to the intersection of North Walnut and East Green Streets for a crash which just occurred. Upon arrival officers determined there were two vehicles involved. Investigation into the crash found a vehicle operated by Rothenhoefer was being operated southbound on North Walnut Street. Witt was operating his vehicle, in the same direction, in front of Rothenhoefer. Witt slowed for traffic and his vehicle was struck by Rothenhoefer’s vehicle. Both vehicles required towing from the scene due to the damage they sustained from the crash. The police department was assisted on scene by Penn State Health EMS.
