On June 4th, 2020, at approximately 6:46 am, the police department was dispatched to a traffic crash that occurred at the intersection of Main and Market Streets. It was determined that McElrath was operating a vehicle travelling westbound on East Main Street and failed to stop for the red light at the intersection. A vehicle that was operated by Wilbert was travelling south on North Market Street and was struck. Wilbert’s vehicle was towed from the scene due to damage from the crash. No injuries were reported.
