On May 3rd, 2022, at approximately 6:37 am, the victim contacted the police department about their vehicle being broken into. The victim advised their vehicle was parked in the 100 block of West Allen Street overnight. They came out to their vehicle, just prior to calling, and found the driver’s side window of the vehicle shattered. There were tools, which did not belong to the victim, found inside the vehicle. There were two other bags found outside the victim’s vehicle which contained clothing. Both of these bags also did not belong to the victim. It was found the ignition to the victim’s vehicle was tampered with after being entered. It is believed the individual(s) responsible were scared off, for some reason, and left the multiple items behind. Suspects from another incident which occurred nearby, and within the same timeframe, have been identified and charges are pending. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the police department.
