On March 20th, 2022, at approximately 9:13 pm, the police department was contacted by a victim residing in the 200 block of East Locust Street. The victim advised they were to the rear of their property when an unknown individual came through their gate and entered their backyard. Upon seeing the victim, the individual fled the area. The victim advised they heard soon after a loud popping type sound. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone in the area. The above Ring video was recorded from a residence close by. Two individuals can be seen walking by during the same timeframe. The next morning 3/21, at approximately 7:00 am, the victim contacted the police department advising the driver’s side front and rear tires on their vehicle had been slashed. The victim’s vehicle was parked in the 200 block of East Locust Street at the time. It is believed this is what the victim heard the previous evening, her tires being deflated.
