On October 16th, 2023, at approximately 2:52 am., an Officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle code violation on West Main Street. The operator was identified as Michael Johnson. During the investigation, Johnson was found to be under the influence of alcohol. It was determined Johnson was under the influence to the degree he could not safely operate a motor vehicle and was arrested. Johnson was transported to Cumberland County Prison however, he was unable to be processed. Johnson’s processing and preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
