On October 9th, 2023, at approximately 3:52 pm, the victim came to the police department to report a hit and run crash. The victim’s vehicle was parked in the 200 block of South Washington Street. A Ring Camera captured a large white box truck traveling northbound on South Washington Street and sideswipe the victim’s vehicle. The operator of the box truck is observed exiting the truck and checking the victim’s vehicle for damage before leaving the scene. No identifying information can be seen on the truck. The victim’s vehicle sustained damage to the driver’s side mirror and tire. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to contact the police department.
