On January 18th, 2024 at approximately 12:36 am, an Officer observed a vehicle code violation in the 100 block of West Main Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Alan Cassel. During the investigation, Cassel was found to be under the influence of alcohol. It was determined Cassel was under the influence to the degree he could not safely operate a motor vehicle and was arrested. Cassel was transported to Cumberland County Prison where he was processed. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
