On December 31st, 2023 at approximately 2:27 am, an Officer attempted a traffic stop, for a vehicle code violation, in the first block of North Walnut Street. The operator failed to stop and fled from Officers, eventually stopping in a driveway. An investigation identified the operator as Rhaheem Jackson, who was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Jackson was arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Prison where he was processed. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
